The pollution caused by plastic!🌊🐠🍼🌎

Each year about eight million tons of plastic end up in the ocean, a material that can take centuries or more to disappear.

The flooding of plastics in the seas and oceans is one of the main environmental problems on the planet and if measures are not taken, there is a high risk of deterioration of marine ecosystems and, consequently, of marine biodiversity.

To curb plastic pollution in the oceans it is essential to take action at the point of origin of the waste.

For this reason, to really solve this problem we have to change our habits of disposing and rethinking the way we produce and consume.

Although collective solutions are gaining ground around the world, it is best to act simultaneously individually. The added impact of our individual decisions is key to driving collective change.

Although it is quite easy to reduce our plastic footprint by 70% -90% simply by eliminating the easiest (bags, bottles, containers, straws, toys, etc.) from there, living without plastic can be a challenge. If you dare to try it, it is a good idea to connect with others to share ideas (for example, through posters and infographics digital and physical that explain in a simple and illustrated way to the community the effects and possible solutions of this problem) and ask for advice.
